WOW!

Where does the time go?! I can't believe I haven't posted on here since May! I didn't realize! Well, here is me now...9 months. I'm so ready. My due date is exactly two weeks from today - July 22nd. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday and can't wait to hear him say "you are dilated...."!! I'm on partial bed rest, but thankfully to the best boss ever, I am working from home. I am also applying for a new job in my current office tomorrow - and hoping I get it because it's a huge pay raise and I've been working my butt off lately to prove I can do it (probably the reason I'm on partial bed rest!)

My memory is about 2.2 seconds long these days!! I'll try to be way better at updating my blog! Thanks, Bridg, for reminding me! :)

Meet Our Sweet Lil Man!

We had our 3D/4D ultrasound last Saturday. It was so amazing! Technology is awesome. If you get confused by the pictures below - there are captions below them. He has big feet, long fingers and his Daddy's chin. Maybe he'll be tall! He's very active and already has a mind of his own! I'm over 30 weeks, so his arrival is fast approaching...Mike and I can't wait to meet him and kiss his little face!

Home Stretch!

So, we are in the home stretch! Started my 3rd Trimester this past weekend. Which is super exciting!! Then there is the crappy news that I failed my 1 hour sugar test. So now I have to schedule my 3 hour test. UGH!!! The cut off is 139 and I was 145. So it wasn't too bad...the nurse said that usually women are in the 200's when they fail. So hopefully, I'll pass the 3 hour test! Keep your fingers crossed!

Last week Mom, Aunt Barb, and I went and had manicures, pedicures, and a masssage. It was HEAVENLY! I am going back in May for another prenatal massage!!

Waiting on the baby furniture to come in...should be here this week!! Super excited about that! And only 3 weeks left of teaching at Polytech!!! Shew!

Times Flying!

Had my doctor appointment this week. Can't believe I only have about 12 weeks left. He said he's probably going to induce me once the baby and my body is ready...so it will probably be sooner than 12 weeks! That way he'll know when I'm going and he'll be the one to deliver him (since he's a friend of the family). We are so excited!! Baby is doing well and weighing about 2.2 pounds right now. I go back to the doctor in 3 weeks and then start going every 2 weeks! Crazy!

We go get our 3D/4D ultrasound on Saturday, May 8th - the day before Mother's Day! I think that's perfect! My parents and hopefully Mike's mom are going with us.

Hopefully, Mike will be finishing up painting the baby's room this weekend. Our furniture should be in next week sometime! Can't wait to put it all together!

In Love...

I'm in love...with Rita's Water Ice. Between that and ice coffee...I could live on them all day long!!! I have to have self control...actually, I should say I need to get more self control!! Pina Colada is my new flavor kick...like having a mixed drink (minus the good stuff)!

The past two days have been so hot...85. Granted there has been a nice breeze...my ankles do not like it! I wouldn't even call them ankles...they are as wide as my calf's. Awful!

Feel free to suggest boy names...unique and uncommon. I'm open for suggestions! LOL

Belly Dancing

I'm 24 weeks tomorrow!!! It's really going fast now! Here is a picture of me at 22 weeks. My belly is getting big! He is starting to move around and kick a lot more!! I tell Mike he is having a party in there! Still hoping Mike will feel...he did (he "thinks")...once. So hopefully in the next week or two he'll really get going and there will be no doubt that he'll be kicking Dad! :)

It's a Boy!!

So many of you know, that we are having a BOY! We went and had our ultrasound and both of us were shocked! We would have bet money it was a girl. At least I would have...I think I was just so sure it was girl, I had Mike convinced! There was no doubt that it is definitely a Boy!!!

We are so excited! We (I say "we" as in Mike) are getting ready to paint the baby's room. In love with everything we picked out! I will definitely post pictures of the finished product.

We aren't telling our lil man's name until he's here. Mainly because it's babies all around lately, but also because we don't know it!! We had names picked out then, changed our minds. We want something different. So we are still trying to agree on this - but mostly waiting to meet him for the first time and see what fits!

Check out our lil man's face...how adorable is he already?!?! We go in about 3 or 4 weeks to have our 3D ultrasound. Anticipating that!!!
